If you want the small shelves covered as well, choose the option that say w/shelf. Double level w/shelf covers both small and large pans. Single level w/shelf covers 1 small and 1 big pan.

Wooden cage guards useful for stopping hay, feces and bedding from being kicked out from the cage.
They are great as chew posts, to prevent overgrown teeth.

You can also place them on the outside if you want to reduce them chewing on the guards.

They are measured out to be easily placed inside your cage. 100% SAFE & EASY to clean.

Have a full set also helps brace the cage sides to reduce cage wobbling and rattling, especially when caused by wheels 🙂

Double level includes 8 sides of coverage: 4 sides, 2 door sides (cut in half for easy opening, 2 back pieces (cut in half)

We have 3 sizes in height for them, 3.5", 6" and 8". I would recommend the 6" since they provide the best coverage without blocking you from seeing your furbaby. 3.5" provide minimal coverage but are very easy for you to see your pet. 8" Cover the most.

I usually do 8” guards for the back, 6” on the sides and 3.5” or 6” for the front :) Go to separate link if you want to do this.

***These are the BEST in guards as they double as chew posts to keep your pets distracted and prevent overgrown teeth.
These and metal guards (coming soon) are the SAFEST as they guarantee your pet will not get into anything unsafe.
Pets that really love chewing can easily nibble the fleece off fleece guards, reach the plastic inside and then tear that apart leading to internal blockages.
Fleece is recommended for chinchillas BUT only if they don’t chew it. Also fleece holds urine much more easily, requiring cleaning to be done more regularly to avoid respiratory infections.

***The back pieces are cut in half to reduce shipping costs for you, if you really want it in one piece, message me and I can order a large box for them.
Door pieces are two separate pieces so they fit on each side nicely.

These wood guards last a LONG time, mine have had the same ones for 2+ years, they’ve just been cleaned and sanded down occasionally to keep up.
These are a 1 step cleaning process and super easy to remove. You only need to rinse with water and vinegar and let to dry.

We can make fleece guards if you would prefer those. However, as a veterinary technician I highly recommend these to assure the safety of all your pets!

***8” guards are also great for supporting large wheels!

They are safe to chew on and sturdy. We sell the 6" tall cage guards and the 8" tall cage guards.
The 8" are a great add on to the wheels, because it prevents the bars from bending due to the animal's weight. This is an issue with critter nation cages. They also help prevent the wheel from hitting the cage, if they run fast.

***you can easily wash them with water and vinegar if they get dirty or even just sand them down!
